The ORDEN Score
Every product recommendation on HomeLogicWorld is backed by a structured 7-criteria evaluation. No guesswork — just consistent, comparable scores.
What is ORDEN Score?
ORDEN Score is HomeLogicWorld's proprietary product evaluation system. The name is an acronym of the core values we test for: Organization · Reliability · Design · Efficiency · Need-value.
Each product is rated on seven criteria, each scored from 1 to 10. The final ORDEN Score is the weighted average of those seven ratings, also expressed on a 0–10 scale.
We do not copy scores or reviews from Amazon or any other retailer. All evaluations are conducted by the HomeLogicWorld editorial team against the criteria below.
The 7 Criteria
Build Quality
Weight: 20%Materials, finish, and structural integrity. Does it feel solid and well-made? Will it hold up under regular use?
Functionality
Weight: 20%Does the product do what it claims? Does it solve the problem it was designed for, reliably and without unnecessary friction?
Ease of Use
Weight: 15%How intuitive is the product? Can you set it up and use it without reading a manual? Is the daily interaction natural?
Space Efficiency
Weight: 15%How well does the product use and create space? Does it justify its footprint? Is it stackable, foldable, or modular?
Durability
Weight: 15%How long is this product expected to last under normal household conditions? Are parts replaceable? Does the design age well?
Ease of Cleaning
Weight: 10%Is the product easy to clean and maintain? Are surfaces smooth and accessible? Will grime build up in hard-to-reach areas?
Value for Money
Weight: 5%Is the price justified by the quality and features? We compare against similar alternatives at the same price point.
The Formula
ORDEN Score = (Q×2 + F×2 + U×1.5 + S×1.5 + D×1.5 + C×1 + V×0.5) ÷ 10
Q = Build Quality · F = Functionality · U = Ease of Use · S = Space Efficiency · D = Durability · C = Ease of Cleaning · V = Value for Money
Score Scale

| 9.0 – 10 | 🏆 Exceptional | Best-in-class. We recommend it without reservations. |
| 7.5 – 8.9 | ⭐ Excellent | Strong choice. Minor trade-offs that won't affect most buyers. |
| 6.0 – 7.4 | 👍 Good | Solid performer. Worthy of a recommendation with caveats. |
| 4.0 – 5.9 | 😐 Average | Neither great nor terrible. Only consider if budget is the priority. |
| Below 4.0 | 👎 Below average | We do not recommend this product. |
