The ORDEN Score

Every product recommendation on HomeLogicWorld is backed by a structured 7-criteria evaluation. No guesswork — just consistent, comparable scores.

What is ORDEN Score?

ORDEN Score is HomeLogicWorld's proprietary product evaluation system. The name is an acronym of the core values we evaluate: Organization · Reliability · Design · Efficiency · Need-value.

Each product is rated on seven criteria, each scored from 1 to 10. The final ORDEN Score is the weighted average of those seven ratings, also expressed on a 0–10 scale.

We do not copy scores or reviews from Amazon or any other retailer. Evaluations are made by the HomeLogicWorld editorial team from manufacturer specifications, published product data and the product design, against the criteria below. Unless a review says otherwise, we have not tested the product in person, so Build Quality and Durability are scored only from verifiable data such as materials, warranties and published load ratings.

The 7 Criteria

Scored from published specs only. Base 7.0; +1.0 for premium materials (solid bamboo, steel, Tritan); +0.5 for stated rigid or shatter-resistant plastic; +0.5 for verified construction details such as seals, latches, bearings, non-skid bases or reinforced parts. Maximum 9.0 without hands-on testing.

Does the product do what it claims? Does it solve the problem it was designed for, reliably and without unnecessary friction?

How intuitive is the product? Can you set it up and use it without reading a manual? Is the daily interaction natural?

How well does the product use and create space? Does it justify its footprint? Is it stackable, foldable, or modular?

Scored from published evidence only. Base 7.0; +1.0 for a manufacturer warranty of 2 years or more; +0.5 for a shorter warranty or wash guarantee; +0.5 for a published load rating; +0.5 for stated rust or moisture resistance; −1.0 for consumable products. Maximum 9.0 without hands-on testing.

Is the product easy to clean and maintain? Are surfaces smooth and accessible? Will grime build up in hard-to-reach areas?

Is the price justified by the quality and features? We compare against similar alternatives at the same price point.

Score Scale

Score	Rating	Meaning
9.0 – 10	🏆 Exceptional	Best-in-class. We recommend it without reservations.
7.5 – 8.9	⭐ Excellent	Strong choice. Minor trade-offs that won't affect most buyers.
6.0 – 7.4	👍 Good	Solid performer. Worthy of a recommendation with caveats.
4.0 – 5.9	😐 Average	Neither great nor terrible. Only consider if budget is the priority.
Below 4.0	👎 Below average	We do not recommend this product.
